Canned responses and quick replies on mobile
If you send the same messages repeatedly—support replies, shipping updates, pricing, or FAQs—retyping them on a phone is slow and introduces mistakes. Canned responses give you an approved starting point, and a paste keyboard makes those replies available across apps.
Set up your responses
- Start with a few replies you actually send most often instead of importing every document you own.
- Save each reply as a snippet in KeyPaste’s Library and give it a short title that describes when to use it.
- Add tags such as
support, sales, orshippingso you can filter quickly. - Group related replies into folders and put your most-used ones first with manual ordering.
- Use obvious placeholders such as
[NAME],[ORDER NUMBER], or[DATE]for details that must be customized before sending.
Example:
Hi [NAME] — thanks for your order. It shipped on [DATE]. You can track it here: [TRACKING LINK]
Keep sensitive or account-specific data out of templates used by your team. A canned response should reduce typing, not remove the final review before you send it.
Use them anywhere
Switch to the KeyPaste keyboard in your messaging, email, or marketplace app, filter by tag or folder, and tap a text snippet to insert it. Review the placeholders, adapt the tone to the conversation, and then send. Because it is a keyboard, the same library can be available in many apps—not only apps with their own template feature.
Who it helps
- Support agents answering the same questions across channels.
- Sellers sending quick replies to buyers on marketplace apps.
- Anyone with a handful of messages they send daily.
Rich text and images can also be stored, but destination-app support varies. Plain text is the most reliable format across messaging and marketplace apps.
Keep the library maintainable
- Review high-use replies when policies, prices, or shipping times change.
- Prefer one canonical reply over several nearly identical versions.
- Put the most important qualification near the beginning so it is not missed.
- Test each template in the actual app where your team will use it.
