Cross-device

One library, every Apple device

When you enable iCloud sync, eligible snippets and clipboard items stay in sync across iPhone, iPad, and Mac — no separate account to create, nothing sent to our servers.

iCloud sync

Enable sync to keep eligible snippets, images, files, and tags in sync under your Apple Account.

Mac menu bar & drag-and-drop

Manage everything in a native Mac window; drag snippets straight into any app or Finder.

Widgets & Control Center

Read your latest items at a glance and jump back into the app from anywhere.

Explore the private clipboard manager for Mac, or learn how persistent iCloud sync differs from Universal Clipboard.

Privacy

Privacy that works for you

A clipboard tool sees everything you copy. KeyPaste is built so it doesn't have to keep the parts you don't want it to.

Sensitive content is skipped

During automatic capture, passwords and other content that the source marks as concealed are skipped instead of being added to your history.

Exclude apps on Mac

Add specific apps to an exclusion list so clipboard content copied in them is not automatically captured.

Your content lives locally and, when sync is enabled, in your own iCloud. Anonymous product analytics never includes your content. No ads, no recording of what you type in other apps.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is "Allow Full Access" and do I need it?

No. You can browse your saved library and insert snippets with the KeyPaste keyboard without Full Access. Full Access is only needed to save text from inside the keyboard or read the system clipboard.

Where is my data stored?

Locally on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, eligible content also syncs across your devices through Apple iCloud (CloudKit). Your content never passes through a KeyPaste developer server.

Does KeyPaste record what I type?

No. KeyPaste does not record or transmit what you type in other apps. It only stores the snippets you choose to save.

Can I keep passwords out of my clipboard history?

Yes. During automatic capture, KeyPaste skips passwords and other sensitive clipboard content that the source marks as concealed. On Mac you can also exclude specific apps from clipboard capture.

Does it sync between iPhone and Mac?

Yes, when you enable iCloud sync. Under the same Apple Account, eligible snippets, images, files, tags, and organized Inbox items stay in sync through iCloud.

How do I add the keyboard on iPhone?

Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Add New Keyboard, then choose KeyPaste. You can start browsing and inserting snippets right away.

Is KeyPaste free?

KeyPaste is free to start. Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription.

Can I back up and export my data?

Yes. You can export a complete backup of your library and inbox for free — your data is yours to keep.
